story
The house was built in 1928 by the Rhön Club branch in Eisenach. In 1945 the club was banned in East Germany and the house was declared state property and was temporarily used as a holiday home by the FDGB. In the mid-1960s, the Stasi set up a bugging system. On January 30, 1990, the neighboring residents moved in front of the gate of the house and demanded admission and the shutdown of the listening system, two days later it was then declared a mountain house again. Since then, the house has mainly been used for gastronomic purposes. It has been part of the Prima Hotel family since June 2nd, 2020.
